Oh My Blog!
I have a confession to make...I'm a virgin blogger! For the one person that actually reads this post I'm sure you were DYING to know that. Right?! Why am I taking the time to tell you this, you ask? Because if you really are taking time to read this then I want your feedback. Give it to me straight - too long, too short, too boring, too silly, too me, etc...just give me your honest opinion and don't hold back. I can take it. Really, I have my big girl britches on. Oh and if there is actually more than one person that reads this blog, HALLELUJAH! Praise you sweet Jesus we just witnessed a miracle folks! So I guess I'll just dive right in and take a lap around the ol' blog. After-all what do I have to lose? It's not like I can actually drown here. Or can I? Nah, I'm too optimistic for that to happen. So, about my blog. After a brief sabbatical I've decided to get back to work. My baby is only five months old but I found an awesome broker and it's bring your children to work day, all day, every day! I decided to consult a few friends and fellow real estate agents to determine what marketing tools they are getting the best ROI (return on investment) from and I keep getting advice on starting a blog. So here we are - welcome to my blog! For my first blog I figure KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) is a great theme. Considering that I am starting back to work in a new market, I decided that it was time to create a website and I have been hard at work for the past couple of days designing and putting together content. Too much work, hire it out, you say? Ok just send me the funds and I'll happily toss that headache to a pro! Remember, I just had a baby and I've been out of work for a while so no dinero over here. This broke agent needs to get marketing and get out there quick! As you can see in the picture positive energy is radiating out of my little office space! It's all rainbows and sunshine over here because, well, rainbows and sunshine are about the only thing in the budget right now. Take a quick glance at my laptop though. That, my friends (I'm hoping that there actually is more than one person reading this), is a teaser of my website. I decided on Wix.com because I liked their format best and they have a FREE option for those of us with the marketing budget of Borders Books. Don't know who that is? My point exactly!! There are quite a few different free options out there but Wix.com felt like the right fit for me. I'm hoping to have my site ready to publish in a couple of days so stay tuned. As soon as it's ready I'll be sure to blog you with all my wit and charm. I know, I can hardly wait too! BTYS y'all! That's Jen for "Blog To Ya Soon" y'all!
