Staged to Sell

Whether you believe the hype or not, staging has an impact on the overall perception of a home. Consider this...if you are going to interview for a job that you really want, then it stands to reason that you are going to do everything you can to put your best foot forward. You’ll prepare yourself for the interview by gaining knowledge about the company, picking out your best professional suit or dress, and you’ll be sure to have your resume on hand simply because it shows that you came prepared. Home staging is no different! You want to ensure that you put your best foot forward right out of the gate because those first 30 days are critical selling days. Cleanliness and organization are also very important to prospective buyers so if you are considering selling your home, PLEASE declutter and depersonalize. Yes, we understand that an occupied home is “lived in” but you want prospects to visualize themselves in that space and cluttered, dirty homes do not create an ambient environment for such visualization.
